Jessica Ogilvie, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Marketing
Dr. Jessica Ogilvie is an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the College of Business at Ohio University where she teaches Sales Management, Advanced Selling, and Graduate Marketing courses. Jessica completed her Ph.D. in Marketing with a minor in decision models from The University of Alabama. She is currently the Director of Research and Academics in The Ralph and Luci Schey Sales Centre at Ohio University. Jessica has a background in consulting and sales training, working with sales groups ranging in size from 40 to 700+ salespeople and sales managers. She has worked with consulting firms around the globe to build customized training programs for marketing, frontline sales, and sales management initiatives. She has published numerous peer reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and books relating to her research. Her work has appeared in top Marketing journals including Journal of Marketing, Journal of Retailing, Journal of Service Research, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, Industrial Marketing Management and others. She has presented research at universities around the world including London Business School, Georgia Institute of Technology, and Columbia University. Dr. Ogilvie is originally from Destin, Florida and enjoys the outdoors. In her spare time she likes hiking and trail running with her dogs, camping, and fixing-up her historic farmhouse in Athens, Ohio.
