Dr. Alexander Sergeev is an Associate Professor for the Department of Social & Public Health at Ohio University. He has an MD and PhD from Smolensk State Medical University, Russian Federation.  Dr. Sergeev research and interests include cardiovascular disease comorbidities and treatment outcomes, comparative effectiveness research in cardiovascular disease, real-world data (RWD)/big data in quantitative health research, and health disparities in cardiovascular and associated diseases. His awards and honors include Elsevier Outstanding Reviewer, 2015, Outstanding MPH Faculty Award, CEOMPH Program, 2015,  Outstanding MPH Faculty Award, CEOMPH Program, 2012, and Outstanding MPH Faculty Award, CEOMPH Program, 2008.
