Do I need to take the GRE, GMAT, or other standardized tests for admission?
The GRE is not required for qualified applicants. Each applicant is assessed for admission individually by an Enrollment Advisor.
Does Ohio University offer financial aid?
Ohio University does offer students the opportunity to fill out the FAFSA to apply for financial aid.
When can I begin the program?
The program has three starts a year: spring, summer, and fall.
When I graduate, will my diploma state that the program was online?
No, your diploma will not mention that you completed the program online.
How do I stay in contact with my classmates and faculty during the program?
You can contact your fellow classmates and faculty members in a variety of ways. There are discussion boards within the courses that you can use, or you may obtain their email addresses and/or phone numbers. Also, most faculty members hold virtual office hours when you can log in to ask questions.
How much time each week should be dedicated to coursework?
Typically, students will need to dedicate 10 to 12 hours a week per class.
What computer skills do I need?
You’ll need basic word processing and Internet skills. A virtual software suite will be accessible for each student providing access to all specialized software needed to complete the program coursework.
Can I enroll in a few courses without being admitted to the full program?
No. To take courses you must enroll in the full master’s program.
I have taken some graduate courses. Can I transfer those credits to this program?
We can accept transfer credits if they meet the requirements set by the program director. The courses you have taken will be assessed during the application process. No more than two classes can be transferred.
